GeoVault
Manufactured
by GHP Systems, Inc.
The GeoVault, manufactured by GHP
Systems, is an economical, tough, and reliable vault designed exclusively
for the commercial geothermal industry. The GeoVault is engineered
using the highest quality components to provide a lifetime of fail-safe service
for your geothermal loopfield system.
Structure
The GeoVault is a composite structure of steel and concrete. The
inner shell consists of a heavy-duty steel frame and base with steel interior
walls, ceiling and floor that are specially treated with a rubberized rust
resistant coating. The outer shell of the wall and ceiling consists of 8" thick
reinforced poured concrete.
Manifolds
High density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe, joined together with heat fusion, is
used for all of the GeoVault's circuit and main header piping.
This HDPE pipe is tough, non-corrosive, and leak proof. All of the GeoVault's
circuits include valves and pressure/temperature ports for complete isolation,
pressure testing and flow balancing.
Installation
The GeoVault is shipped from factory preformed for concrete pour with
all reinforcement rods, manifolds, and piping secured in place. The GeoVault
is set on an 18" level base of compacted gravel. Concrete (supplied
by the contractor) is then poured into the vault form and screeded off the top
of the form. Once the concrete cures, the outer form walls are removed
and the GeoVault is ready to fuse on the circuit and manifold
piping.
Workmanship
All fabrication is performed and inspected by personnel with years of custom
fabrication experience and are certified welders and heat fusion certified
pipe joiners.
